Happennings at ACST
What's been happening at ACST?
Melbourne Muscular Therapies – One of Melbourne’s most innovative and prominent Sports Medicine clinics has a
‘Student Development Program’ where they take current ACST students and mentor them to work in the industry. They gain
valuable experience and guidance “on the job” and when they graduate are offered a guaranteed job with a ready-made client
base. The Melbourne Muscular Therapies approach to treatment matches well with ACST’s philosophy and they attract a high
calibre of clientele including the likes of Chris Judd.
Other events we have been involved with this year include Oxfam Trailwalker, The Melbourne Marathon, the Foxtel Lap and
the XoSize Triathlon Series where ACST was the major provider of competitor services. We have also provided services at the
Wellington Centre which is a donation based community outreach clinic which provides health services to people from socioeconomically
challenged backgrounds. This has been a rewarding and eye-opening experience for our students.
There are many exciting opportunities for our students to aspire to as our reputation for delivering highly skilled and knowledgeable
graduates into the workforce is always increasing.
