Systemic Anatomy and Physiology

A thorough grounding in the structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the body, systems and organs provides the foundation for all studies in clinical science. How the body operates in functional and dysfunctional states provides part of the underpinning skills and theoretical knowledge essential in client assessment, analysis, treatment implementation and evaluation.
This subject introduces structural organisation, physiological functions and scientific terminology focusing on the inter-relationship between body systems during rest and exercise with emphasis on skeletal, muscular and nervous systems.
